There will be two more 110kV transformer stations in Tu Ky and Thanh Mien.

Specifically, the Tu Ky 110V transmission line and transformer station project includes the construction of a 110kV double-circuit transmission line of about 7.8 km; the construction of a 110kV transformer station with 2 transformers (phase 1 installs a 40MVA transformer). This project is implemented in the communes of Hung Dao, Ngoc Ky, Tai Son (Tu Ky) and Gia Khanh, Hoang Dieu, Gia Luong (Gia Loc), using about 11 hectares of land. This project is expected to be completed and put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Thanh Mien 2 110kV transmission line and substation project is more than 3 km long, 110kV double-circuit line, supplying power to Thanh Mien 2 110kV substation; building a substation with 2 transformers, total capacity of 103 MVA. This project is implemented in Thanh Tung commune (Thanh Mien), Le Loi commune (Gia Loc) and Co Bi commune (Binh Giang); expected to be energized in the second quarter of 2026.

Currently, in the province, there are 6 110kV transformer station projects invested by the Northern Power Corporation. Of which, 3 power line and transformer station projects are being implemented, including 110kV Nam Sach 2, installation of T2 transformer at 110kV Kim Thanh transformer station and installation of T2 transformer at Cong Hoa 2 transformer station (Chi Linh). There are 3 110kV power line and transformer station projects Tu Minh ( Hai Duong City), Kinh Mon and Binh Giang are preparing to be implemented.
