A representative from the Traffic Police Department stated that initially, after the cameras were installed, the number of violations was high. However, after widespread dissemination of information and awareness campaigns regarding the handling of traffic safety violations, the number of violations has gradually decreased.
In the coming period, the Traffic Police Department will coordinate with functional units and local police to install more than 5,000 additional cameras on expressways, national highways, and urban areas.
