Danang students with science, technology and innovative startup festival

NDO - On May 28, the University of Education - University of Danang organized the Science, Technology and Innovation Startup Festival 2025. This is an opportunity to connect the school with businesses and the community, aiming to build a sustainable academic and startup ecosystem.

Speaking at the program, Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Van Minh, Principal of the University of Education, Danang University, said: Resolution 57 is a strategic milestone, demonstrating the Party's innovative thinking and long-term development vision, when establishing science , technology, innovation and digital transformation as the fourth strategic breakthrough in the new development stage.

Immediately after Resolution 57 was issued, the school's Board of Directors resolutely directed the research and development of a specific Action Plan, with 7 key task groups. Thereby, determining the school's vision to strive to become a unique and sustainable innovative university, where science and technology are the spearhead, digital transformation is the foundation,education is the center, interdisciplinary is the trend, and service is the mission.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Van Minh, 2024 is a very successful year for the school in the field of scientific research, with intellectual property certificates and prestigious awards recognized, hundreds of scientific works published in prestigious journals.

With many applied topics implemented in localities, students have continuously won high awards in scientific research competitions at national, city and Da Nang University levels.

We look forward to working with experts and the business community so that science, technology, innovation and digital transformation truly become key driving forces in the development of education, socio-economy, security and defense, and the creation of a prosperous and powerful Vietnam.

"I also call on all teachers in the school to continue to "persist in their goals, persevere in their implementation, and be resolute in their creativity", to work together to build the school to develop more and more", Associate Professor, Dr. Vo Van Minh emphasized.

At the program, the University of Education - University of Danang announced the Plan to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation at the University.

The plan demonstrates the University's strong commitment to building an innovative, interdisciplinary, digital technology-integrated university model, serving sustainable development and international integration.

In addition, the exhibition space includes 18 booths displaying and introducing scientific research products and typical technology models from the specialized departments of the School;

Student scientific research projects, creative startup products, with the participation of 9 units which are innovation support organizations and startup companies in Da Nang city.

At the program, the school honored nearly 70 lecturers and 70 outstanding students of the 2024-2025 school year, with outstanding achievements in the fields of international publications, scientific topics, intellectual property, scientific research awards and startups at all levels.
