SK Startup Fellowship 2023 - investment opportunity in potential startups

Through the meeting, corporations, investors, and investment funds can grasp the most useful information about these innovative business models to seek opportunities for cooperation, investment, and support startups in their breakthrough business growth strategies. In the top 10, 3 startups will continue to have the opportunity to receive a non-equity grant of 50,000 USD/startup, and the remaining 7 startups will receive 15,000 USD/startup.

In addition, the top 10 startups are also supported with non-financial items such as building a business network with the member network of SK Startup Fellowship (SKSF) of each season, partners, member companies in the SK Group ecosystem spanning more than 40 countries, and the business community of Program Partner BSSC to seek business cooperation opportunities.

During the meeting, Mr. Khoi Nguyen - founder of Good Story Time and former Head of Technology for several Silicon Valley startups that have successfully divested to large global corporations such as Sony and Meta, will share his experiences and lessons learned while working with startup founders.

SKSF is an annual program organized by SK Group, starting from 2020 to present, with the desire to directly support Vietnamese startups and demonstrate the group's commitment to long-term investment in the Vietnamese market. SK Startup Fellowship (SKSF) has sponsored more than 1 million USD in non-convertible shares to 37 Vietnamese startups for 3 years, continuously from 2020 to 2022.

To date, SKSF has invested a total of nearly 140 million USD in SKSF member startups and some startups have reached the series C funding round. Some prominent faces that have successfully raised capital include Validus Capital, MindX Technology, Logivan, Cooky Corp, Phenikaa Maas, Palexy, Gimo, Earable, Med247, Selly, Vuihoc, Bizzi Vietnam, Fundiin, SoBanHang, Selex Motors...

Currently, after a 6-month acceleration journey, SKSF 2023 startups are ready for the important Demo Day event, to select the top 3 outstanding startups. The event is expected to be livestreamed from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on November 29, 2023 on the SK Startup Fellowship fanpage.
