Before the summer vacation of the 2024-2025 school year, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has directed schools at all levels to organize activities to ensure safety for students.

Specifically, in addition to ensuring safety in student care, management, andeducation , the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires educational institutions to develop plans to review cultural knowledge and foster knowledge for weak students.

“Absolutely do not organize extra teaching or learning in any form, do not organize pre-program teaching; review, exam preparation, testing, and surveys to arrange classes for the 2025-2026 school year,” the Department of Education and Training directed.

In just a few days, schools will wrap up the 2024-2025 school year and students will enter a 3-month summer vacation.

Even during the summer vacation, this department also requires all schools at all levels to direct teachers to strictly implement the regulations according to Circular 29 on the management of extra teaching and learning of the Ministry of Education and Training . This includes the following contents: teachers are not allowed to take their students who are taught in class to teach extra classes for money.

For high school level, at the end of the school year, the school proactively coordinates with the local Youth Union and Pioneer Council to develop an activity plan, organize the handover of students to local summer activities and receive students back when the new school year begins.

Activities focus on the content of moral education, national cultural and historical traditions and popularizing legal education. At the same time, organizing propaganda sessions to prevent and combat injuries, drowning, traffic accidents, child abuse and violence, food safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation, epidemics, and addictive substances "disguised" in forms such as paper stamps, tongue charms, milk tea, cookies, etc.

The school needs to coordinate with the parents' representative committee, departments, branches, organizations and local authorities to detect and take timely measures to deal with students who show signs of disobedience.

Resolutely do not let bad guys take advantage of and entice students to participate in social evils, illegal religious propaganda activities and illegal activities.

For preschool level, based on actual conditions and parents' need to send their children, the voluntary spirit of teachers registering to work during the summer, preschool education facilities develop a plan to organize summer activities, report to the People's Committee of the commune, ward, or town for groups of children, independent kindergarten classes, and the Department of Education and Training to organize teaching.
