Department of Education and Training conducts pilot training on assessment and ranking of happy schools

On September 27-28, in Bat Xat commune, the Department of Education and Training coordinated with the Vietnam Education Innovation Foundation (VIEF) to organize a pilot training course on evaluating and ranking national happy schools for schools in Lao Cai province.

Attending the training course were 50 managers and teachers from primary, secondary and high schools in the area.

Students learned 10 modules on building happy schools, including: VIEF - VN happy school framework; social-emotional education and life values ​​- life skills for students; creating a safe and friendly learning environment for students; STEAM education; applying artificial intelligence (GEN AI) in teaching; using teaching methods towards happy schools; testing and evaluating students towards happy schools; school - family - community connecting love - happy family; digital transformation of schools with technology and heart; inspiring career passion, artistic creation associated with homeland identity.

Through the training, trainees will grasp the method of bringing social emotional education (SEL) and life values, life skills into schools through extracurricular activities and integrating them into subjects such as Literature, Math, Social Sciences and classroom management... These contents help build a truly happy educational environment for teachers, students and parents, creating the best environment for students to develop comprehensively.

“Happy School” is a place to foster and preserve love between teachers, between teachers and students, between students. It is also a place to impart knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes to students, nurturing beautiful souls for generations of students.
