Ca Mau Department of Health: Training on implementing medical communication work on Zalo OA platform

Currently, the application of information technology in medical communication is considered an inevitable step to contribute to improving the effectiveness of propaganda, this is also an important task in the digital transformation of healthcare. In order to concretize that task, on the afternoon of October 24, 2025, the Department of Health of Ca Mau province coordinated with the Zalo Administration Board to organize a training course on implementing medical communication on the Zalo Official Account (OA) platform.

Attending the training course were Mr. Nguyen Van Bot - Head of Professional Department, Department of Health of Ca Mau province; Mr. Nguyen Quang Dieu - Director of Public Services and Zalo Digital Transformation; Ms. Ha Thi Phuong Hong - Manager of Healthcare Digital Transformation Cooperation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet Hoai - Zalo Operation Specialist, along with representatives of leaders of hospitals, Center for Disease Control (CDC), Medical Centers, Medical Stations and officers in charge of medical communications in the province.

Speaking at the training session, Mr. Nguyen Van Bot, Head of the Department of Health, Ca Mau Province, affirmed: Digital transformation in medical communication is a revolution in the way we connect and convey information to people. Deploying medical communication via the Zalo OA platform will help medical facilities reach people more easily, especially in announcing vaccination schedules, reminding vaccination schedules, disseminating knowledge about non-communicable diseases, guiding people to recognize risk factors early, practice disease prevention, treatment and effective management of chronic diseases. This is one of the important solutions contributing to improving public health and reducing the burden of disease on society.

At the training class, Zalo representatives introduced the model of "Zalo Digital Education for the People" - a modern digital communication solution that helps local health agencies reach people more quickly, officially and friendly through messaging channels, articles and online interactions. In addition, Zalo technical experts directly guided trainees on how to set up Zalo OA accounts, compile and manage communication content, monitor statistics and evaluate campaign effectiveness.

The application of Zalo OA platform at medical facilities will contribute to improving propaganda effectiveness, aiming at the goal of building a modern, transparent healthcare system, serving the health care needs of the people.
