Department of Health visited and gave gifts to 100 children in special circumstances

On the morning of May 28, the Department of Health and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and localities organized a delegation to visit and give gifts to 100 children in special circumstances, on the occasion of International Children's Day, June 1, in Chau Doc City.

Deputy Head of Population and Children Department (Department of Health ) Dang Huy Chau spoke at the ceremony.

Accordingly, at the ceremony, 100 gifts were presented to children in special circumstances, each worth 250,000 VND, with a total cost of 25 million VND from the provincial budget. This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the concern of Party committees at all levels, local authorities, departments, and organizations in the whole society in caring for children.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Head of the Department of Population and Children (Department of Health) Dang Huy Chau emphasized that in recent years, the care, protection andeducation of children has received special attention from Party committees, authorities, departments and organizations. Children's work has been included in the annual action plan and program, helping children develop comprehensively and have a safe and healthy living environment. Hopefully, Party committees, authorities, departments and organizations will continue to pay attention and create the best conditions for children, especially children in special circumstances, children living in poor and near-poor households, children living in remote areas, ethnic minority areas, and children across the province to enjoy a safe, joyful and happy International Children's Day.
