According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Cuc, sun protection shirts cost from 100,000-300,000 VND/shirt depending on the material (long or short), sun protection skirts cost from 80,000-200,000 VND/piece, sun protection gloves made of cotton spandex or spandex cost from 10,000-30,000 VND/pair (short-sleeved or long-sleeved), wide-brimmed hats range from 60,000-180,000 VND/piece, masks cost from 15,000-120,000 VND/piece... Sun protection shirts for men are designed more simply, in monochrome colors, some have hoods, the chosen material is cotton or khaki, priced from 170,000-350,000 VND/shirt.

For women, some cosmetics such as sunscreen and skin cream are also used daily to limit UV rays. Ms. Tran Thi Tuyet (Ward 4, Tuy Hoa City) said: If I buy sun protection accessories, I will choose products made from cool materials that can absorb sweat such as linen and cotton. I also use sunscreen regularly when going outdoors. However, with the diversity of the market, choosing a sunscreen product that is suitable for the skin is also a problem. I often choose products with clear brands, reasonable prices and are used by many people.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc, owner of a cosmetics and accessories store in Ward 3 (Tuy Hoa City), people's demand for cosmetics and sun protection accessories has begun to increase. For nearly a month now, Ms. Ngoc's store has sold many of these products. Of which, the demand for products in the popular segment accounts for 2/3 and the high-end segment accounts for 1/3 of the total sales. In the high-end segment, sun protection shirts with high UV protection cost from 500,000 VND to over 1 million VND/shirt, sun protection skirts cost 300,000-800,000 VND/piece; socks, masks, gloves... also cost hundreds of thousands of VND/product.

Many incentives when buying cooling equipment

When the temperature rises, not only sunscreen accessories and cosmetics but also refrigeration and cooling equipment are in demand by families. According to the points of sale, the common price for an air conditioner with a capacity of 1 horse power (1HP) is about 6.5-18 million VND/unit, and for an air conditioner with a capacity of 1.5 horse power (1.5HP), it is from 9-20 million VND/unit. Currently, air conditioners with energy-saving features (inverter) are produced in large quantities and are preferred by customers. In addition to air conditioners, mist fans, air conditioners, box fans, etc. are also chosen by many families, with prices ranging from 200,000 to 8 million VND/product (depending on the model).

Currently on the market, to increase product consumption, create purchasing opportunities for many families, stores, electronics supermarkets such as Dien may Xanh, Dien may Phu Thu, Co.opmart Tuy Hoa, Ngoc Tuan... offer many incentive programs such as: Gifts, lucky draws, product discount promotions... There are points of sale that are applying discounts of up to 30% of product value, or 100% free copper pipe materials, free installation, maintenance fees, free returns within 30 days, or support installment payments with 0% interest.
