On the afternoon of October 27, at the Sports Gymnasium - Hai Phong Sports Training and Competition Center, the 2025 National Table Tennis Tournament for Excellent Racquets officially opened. The event was organized by the Vietnam Sports Administration in coordination with the Hai Phong Department of Culture and Sports, aiming to evaluate the level and select the national team for international competitions in the coming time.
The year 2025 marks an important turning point in the development process of Hai Phong , when the city expands its administrative boundaries, affirming its position as a central urban area and the development nucleus of the Northern Coast region.
Being entrusted to host this national tournament is a great honor and also a clear demonstration of the new role and position of the Port City. This is also an opportunity for Hai Phong to promote the image of a dynamic, civilized and hospitable city to friends across the country.
This year's tournament takes place from October 25 to 31, bringing together 42 of the best Vietnamese table tennis players, promising to bring dramatic and exciting matches. Not only is it a place for top competition, the tournament is also an important opportunity to evaluate, rank achievements and select outstanding faces to add to the national team, preparing for regional and continental tournaments in the coming time.
The 2025 National Table Tennis Tournament for Excellent Racquets will close at 2:00 p.m. on October 31, concluding a week of exciting competition, contributing to promoting the table tennis movement nationwide and affirming Hai Phong's position on the Vietnamese sports map.
