Long An province has 15 residential areas (KDC) selected as venues for the National Unity Day to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024).

At the residential areas, provincial and district leaders and departments and branches attended the Festival with local people to create closer ties between the Party, State and the People.

People of Say Giang Hamlet, Vinh Tri Commune, Vinh Hung District practice performances to celebrate the National Great Unity Day.

Ms. Bui Thi Tron (Say Giang Hamlet, Vinh Tri Commune, Vinh Hung District) shared: “In preparation for the Festival, in the evening, the performing arts team gathered at my house to practice their performances, thereby strengthening the village and neighborhood ties. And when we stood on stage and received enthusiastic cheers from the people, we felt extremely happy.”

According to the assessment of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, most residential areas in the province are interested in organizing the Festival solemnly, practically, effectively, without ostentation or formality, with both the ceremony and the festival, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people. On this occasion, activities to commend and reward outstanding households and individuals and social security work are also focused on by residential areas.

Hamlet 1, Long Khe Commune, Can Duoc District mobilizes philanthropists to give gifts to the poor and near-poor on the National Great Unity Day.

For the people of Hamlet 1, Long Khe Commune, Can Duoc District, the Festival is an opportunity to look back at the results in all areas over the past year. With the joint efforts and consensus of the people, in 2024, Hamlet 1 will carry out well the patriotic emulation campaigns and movements. The Front Work Committee of Hamlet 1 coordinated to mobilize people to contribute money to expand rural roads in the area with a total cost of more than 600 million VND, contributing to creating conditions for people to travel and transport goods easily.

Secretary of Hamlet 1 Party Cell, Head of the Front Work Committee of Hamlet 1, Long Khe Commune - Nguyen Thi Kim Lan said: "Currently, 98.02% of households in the hamlet have achieved the title of Cultural Family. 96% of people participate in health insurance. The hamlet always pays attention to housing care, unexpected visits, and giving gifts to the poor, near-poor, disabled people, and students in difficult circumstances.

In recent times, people have united and actively cleaned, sorted garbage, planted flowers and trees, contributing to creating a bright, green, clean and beautiful environment. The results achieved are the motivation for the cadres and people in the hamlet to continue to strive, better complete the assigned tasks, contributing to the commune achieving advanced new rural standards in the coming time."

People of Nha Viec hamlet, An Luc Long commune, Chau Thanh district participate in planting trees to create rural beauty.

The atmosphere of the DTDT Festival in Nha Viec Hamlet, An Luc Long Commune, Chau Thanh District was equally exciting. The festival was organized by officials and people in the hamlet on November 7, 2024. People in the hamlet gathered in large numbers at the Hamlet Cultural House to attend the festival with exciting cultural activities and folk games, along with a joyful, warm and meaningful "Solidarity Meal". On this occasion, people also actively participated in contributing many ideas in building the residential community.

Ms. Phan Thi Tieu (Nha Viec hamlet) expressed: “People are always united and actively respond to local movements. The Youth Union Day is held annually, helping to strengthen the village and neighborhood ties.”

Before the Festival, the hamlet residential area effectively implemented many practical activities and emulation movements such as uniting to participate in economic development, helping each other to sustainably reduce poverty, building a cultural life, participating in environmental protection, responding to climate change, actively complying with the law, ensuring social order and safety, etc. In 2024, the number of households achieving the title of Cultural Family of the hamlet was 99.5%, and the number of households participating in health insurance was 96%. Currently, the hamlet has no poor households, only 3 near-poor households.

Head of Nha Viec Hamlet - Le Huu Hieu said: “To maintain a model new rural area, a smart hamlet, people agreed to apply high technology in dragon fruit production with 36 hectares and established 2 growing area codes. During the year, people voluntarily contributed nearly 33 million VND to dredge Cau Vuong - Cau Doi canal, Lo Cay Diep canal, providing good irrigation water for people, especially in the dry season. The People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune mobilized philanthropists and people in the hamlet to contribute money and labor days to build a new inter-commune bridge An Luc Long - Duong Xuan Hoi with a total cost of more than 200 million VND. In addition, social security activities are also of interest”.

The organization of the Ethnic Minority Youth Day is an opportunity to strengthen and promote the strength of the Ethnic Minority Youth Union, further tightening the relationship between the People and the Party and the State.
