To celebrate the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, on the evening of April 22, at APEC Park, the People's Committee of Da Nang City held the opening ceremony of the Da Nang Reading Culture Festival with the theme "Reading Culture - Connecting the Community".

The festival takes place from April 20 to 27. This is a meaningful activity, contributing to arousing passion, helping people realize the importance of reading, creating cultural beauty, promoting habits, and nurturing a love of books.

Da Nang Reading Culture Festival 2025 has many outstanding activities such as exhibition of information resources, photo documents about Da Nang 50 years of formation and development and 95 years of founding the Da Nang City Party Committee.

The event also includes activities to develop reading culture such as organizing talk shows, seminars, introducing authors and works; exchanging with collectors in Da Nang City; organizing book promotion and introduction contests, storytelling based on books; costume contests for characters in books and stories...

The event attracted a large number of visitors to visit, experience and buy books. At the reading culture festival, many book stalls were displayed with a variety of genres, meeting and serving the needs of readers.

As a person who loves reading, Ms. Dang Thi Van (29 years old, living in Cam Le district) is very excited when the city organizes a reading culture festival.

“I came here early to comfortably choose and look at books. The books here are very rich, with many genres, I have chosen many books that suit my taste. The festival is an opportunity for people who have a passion for books like me to easily choose and find good books,” Ms. Dang Thi Van shared.
