Exciting and useful playground for children

The above activities were organized by the Provincial Children's House on June 1 to respond to the Month of Action for Children, celebrate International Children's Day on June 1 and respond to World Environment Day on June 5.

The mini football tournament has the participation of 10 teams from districts and Ca Mau city, including: Tadasport team, NTN Ca Mau team, NTN Cai Nuoc team, NTN Tran Van Thoi team, Ngoc Hien district team, Phu Tan district team, Ca Mau city team, Dam Doi district team, U Minh district team and Tran Van Thoi district team. The teams are divided into teams to compete for the First, Second and Third prizes.

The young athletes competed fiercely.

The painting contest has two parts: group and individual. The main theme of the contest is "For a plastic waste-free environment".

Students compete in individual drawing . The collective drawing groups were very enthusiastic about their creations.

In the children's chess tournament, pairs of contestants compete until a winner is announced by the invigilator. After that, the winning contestants will be arranged to compete again to win the highest prizes.

Chess and football tournaments, Summer Painting Contest 2023 aim to create a healthy and useful intellectual playground for children, helping them have a good environment to play, entertain, practice sports and participate in collective activities at NTN province.

At the same time, create opportunities for children to develop their knowledge of painting, raise awareness and thoughts about the current environmental situation as well as dreams and necessary actions to have a greener - cleaner - more beautiful environment.

Mr. Tran Dang Khoa, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, awarded 4 first prizes in the chess competition.

In addition to awarding contestants with excellent achievements in the Chess and Football Tournaments and the Summer Painting Contest, on this occasion, the Organizing Committee summarized and awarded the contests that took place at the provincial NTN in the past time.

After 2 months of launching, the "Good deeds around me" painting contest received more than 350 entries from primary and secondary school teams in the province with many materials, presentation methods, rich and diverse content, bringing the contest many fresh and attractive colors.

As a result, the Organizing Committee selected 12 best works to award Certificates of Merit and cash prizes. The first prize went to Doan Kim Hoang, class 8A, Ham Rong Secondary School, Nam Can District.

Ms. Ho Quy Nhi, Deputy Head of the Provincial Youth Union, awarded prizes to the children who won the painting contest "Good deeds around me".

The Organizing Committee also awarded the Kim Dong Prize to the winning team.

The Kim Dong Award is a noble award given annually by the Central Youth Union to young team members and team leaders with outstanding achievements in team work and the children's movement.

In the 2022-2023 school year, Ca Mau province is honored to have 1 team member with outstanding achievements receiving the Kim Dong Award, that is Le Pham Bao Duy from Vo Thi Sau Secondary School, Cai Nuoc district.

Mr. Tran Dang Khoa, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, presented the Kim Dong Award presented by the Central Youth Union to team member Le Pham Bao Duy.

In addition to winning the Kim Dong Award, Le Pham Bao Duy is also one of 16 team members awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Education and Training for outstanding achievements among 122 students who won the Kim Dong Award in the 2022-2023 school year./.
