Tay Vi Communal House is a testament to the solidarity of the local community. Since its inception, the communal house has become a center for religious activities of the people. The worship of Tan Vien Son Thanh - the leading saint in the "Four Immortals", originated from the Ba Vi mountain area, ancient Son Tay town. The three Son Thanh Tan Vien helped King Hung fight the enemy, went everywhere to teach people how to do business and live. To commemorate his merits, people in many localities have built temples to worship him. Tay Vi Communal House was built around (1716-1720), the 18th century. However, the communal house was burned down during the resistance war in 1964. Before being destroyed, Tay Vi Communal House was a large structure, with an architecture of 5 compartments and 2 wings, shaped like the letter Nhat, with a left and right wing to serve the village festival. For a long time, from 1964 to 1996, people moved their worship items to Tay Vi Pagoda temporarily, and the rituals of worshiping Thanh Hoang were also interrupted. In 1996, people together restored Tay Vi peak as it is today to worship Thanh Hoang, and in 2022, the two left and right houses were restored to serve as places to prepare for festivals and receive guests...

Today, the main festival of Tay Vi communal house is closely linked to the shrines of Tan Vien Son Thanh, held once a year. Tay Vi communal house festival shows the respect of the local people to the Thanh Hoang Tan Vien Son Thanh. The main festival is held every 3 years, from the 14th to the 16th of September (lunar calendar) every year to commemorate the death anniversary of Thanh Hoang, of which the 15th is the main party.
