Together with Go Noi Green Agricultural Cooperative, Ms. Kieu Anh is realizing the journey of promoting OCOP products with a sustainable tourism model called "Experiential tourism with Go Noi Xanh", linking production with cultural space and community.
This project won second prize in the "Search for Quang Nam Startup Talent" contest in 2025.
Promoting medicinal space
In the early days, when Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Anh's essential oil products extracted from lemongrass, ginger, cajuput, cinnamon, etc. gradually gained a foothold in the market, many customers wanted to witness the cultivation and processing process as well as experience the organic farming environment in the Go Noi medicinal herb area.
Initially, there were short visits and spontaneous tours, but later the needs of tourists became clearer, and they came to Go Noi more often. Ms. Kieu Anh cherished the idea of organizing green agricultural tours to connect tourists with medicinal herb production spaces and indigenous culture.
“If we only produce essential oils, it will be difficult to spread the core values we are pursuing, which is a green lifestyle, no chemicals, no toxicity, close to nature. Therefore, expanding to experiential tourism is a way for customers to use green products and feel the entire journey of creating those products,” Ms. Kieu Anh shared.

Go Noi Green Agriculture Cooperative has conducted the first tours with stops such as: visiting medicinal herb gardens, watching the essential oil extraction process, experiencing herbal foot baths and discovering herbal teas and functional foods from local medicinal herbs.
The special feature of the tour is that besides exploring clean agriculture, visitors can get lost in the countryside space imbued with Quang culture in Bao An village with ditches, water wharves, rice fields, bamboo groves... pristine and lively. In the evening in the middle of the village, visitors can sit under the oil lamp light listening to the folk songs, bai choi, and sweet folk songs performed by the locals.

A Canadian tourist shared: “Coming to Go Noi, I felt like I was entering a new space, unlike other villages in Vietnam I have been to. Here, I felt like I was lost in a world of herbs, rustic village culture and joyful yet profound songs.”
Green travel destination
From a fertile land along the Thu Bon River, Go Noi has long been known for its agricultural products such as clean vegetables and traditional crops. However, with the shift from production model to experiential tourism, this land is gradually reshaping its role in the green tourism value chain of Da Nang city.

The “Experience Tour with Go Noi Xanh” is not just a simple sightseeing trip, but also a place where visitors can learn how to plant, harvest, process and taste the essential oils made by their own hands, thereby better understanding the role of medicinal herbs and clean agriculture in modern life.
According to Mr. Duong Hien Cong, Head of the Department of Culture and Society of Go Noi commune, this model is completely suitable for the development orientation of local community tourism.
“The locality highly appreciates the efforts of the Go Noi Green Agriculture Cooperative in linking production activities with tourism development, especially when the locality lacks models with in-depth cultural and ecological aspects. The commune will provide maximum support to further improve this tourism product,” said Mr. Cong.

According to Mr. Cong, Go Noi has enough potential to form a cluster of medicinal herb tours, connecting cooperatives with production units and surrounding cultural sites, thereby developing into a complete value chain. In particular, the human element, especially the indigenous people, will be trained to become tour guides, storytellers, and keepers of the village culture.
“This tourism model also demonstrates the new market trends of green tourism, healing tourism and community-based tourism. Many tourists today are no longer interested in crowded, bustling places but prioritize personal experiences, spaces close to nature and clear indigenous elements.
Therefore, a tour in Go Noi with its slow pace of life, the scent of essential oils, and peaceful countryside scenery... will make many people come and regret leaving," said Mr. Cong.
