Song Cau: 70 war veteran members elected to party committees at all levels

Mr. Bui Thanh Trong, Chairman of the Association of War Veterans of Song Cau Town, said that in the 2020-2025 term, the entire town has 70 War Veterans Association members elected to Party committees at all levels.

 

Of which, there are 65 members at the grassroots level, 4 members at the district level and equivalent. The members always promote their core positions and roles, leading the Party organization to successfully complete political tasks, strictly maintain Party discipline and State laws in performing assigned tasks.

 

For the Town People's Council for the 2021-2026 term, 54 members were elected as People's Council delegates at all levels, including 52 members at the commune and ward levels and 2 members at the town level. These are typical factors, representing the will and legitimate aspirations of the association and the people.

 

During the term, the People's Council delegates who are War Veterans Association members actively participated in monitoring activities, contributed ideas and proposed policies and solutions on the implementation of resolutions of People's Councils at all levels, together with local people, fully and promptly implemented the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws at the grassroots level; promptly reflected the aspirations of members and voters to competent authorities for satisfactory resolution, in accordance with the people's wishes, contributing to mobilizing the building of the great national unity bloc, participating in building and developing a strong town in all aspects.
