SONG HINH: Summary of 1 year of implementing the directive on eliminating backward customs and practices

At the conference, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee acknowledged the consensus and changes in people's awareness. Some bad customs such as slaughtering many livestock, early marriage, and superstition have not been completely eliminated but have significantly decreased. Coordination between departments and organizations has been carried out effectively, close to the grassroots. However, the conference also pointed out some limitations such as weak propaganda work in some places, a number of cadres are not determined, many bad customs are still deeply rooted in life...

In the coming time, Song Hinh District Party Committee recommends that the new communes after the merger develop specific programs and plans suitable to local characteristics, continue to promote propaganda and mobilization, create changes in awareness and action, considering this an important solution in sustainable poverty reduction for the people.
