The support of tens of thousands of laborers is described in the works “Viet Bac” by Dao Duc, “Tiến nhau đi dân công” by Luu Van Sin, “Cà nước đi chiến” by Luu Danh Thanh. The close bond between the army and the people, supporting each other during wartime, is also described in “Tinh quan dan” by Nguyen Sang and “Duong len Dien Bien” by Tran Khanh Chuong. The series of sketches of the Dien Bien Phu battlefield that artist To Ngoc Van made before his death is the highlight of this exhibition.
