On April 12, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan - Chief of Office of Nghe An Departmentof Education and Training - said that the department had received a report from the Department of Education and Training of Dien Chau district about information that a 7th grade female student had to be hospitalized at Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, suspected of taking 30 Paracetamol pills, causing public concern.
According to this document, the female student who had to be hospitalized was P. - currently a 7th grade student at a middle school in Dien Chau.
The incident happened on March 30. At noon, P. was still happy and normal, but at around 4:00 p.m. that same day, P. called her mother to say she was tired and had a stomachache and asked her mother to take her to the hospital.
Then my family took me to Nghe An Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital.
P. was diagnosed with using a large amount of painkillers. After 4 days of treatment, P.'s health stabilized, he was discharged from the hospital and is now back to school as usual.
It is worth mentioning that, according to many articles circulating on social networks, the reason for this action is said to be because the student had conflicts with some classmates, was boycotted, isolated and bullied.
The document also stated that through verification from various sources of information, the school where P. studied confirmed that there was no case of her being isolated, boycotted or bullied due to conflicts with friends.
However, the school noted that the student had some unusual health symptoms recently.
At the meeting with the teachers, P. confirmed that he was not beaten up or isolated. He only said that he was teased a few times on the dike, outside the school grounds.
Classmates also confirmed that it was just normal teasing, after that P. and her friends were still happy and normal again.
Mr. Hoan added that the department has directed the Department of Education and Training of Dien Chau district to request the school to coordinate with parents to visit, encourage students, and provide timely support so that they can soon stabilize and continue studying.
At the same time, strengthen psychological counseling, promote the role of school psychological counseling teams and social work in schools to promptly detect and support students with psychological difficulties, and prevent behaviors related to school violence.
Paracetamol is a pain reliever and fever reducer commonly used in the treatment of headaches, muscle aches, joint pain, backache, toothache, flu...
