Voters in Hung Yen province reported that after implementing Resolution No. 60, Vietnam will have 34 provinces and cities directly under the Central Government. Many provinces and cities will no longer have them, causing some subjects in general education textbooks to have many shortcomings.
For example, geography is affected by changes in the names of provinces, cities, minerals, agriculture , sea areas, and mountains; history has many historical events related to place names, famous people, etc. that also change...
The Ministry of Education and Training has just responded to voters' petitions on revising the content of some textbooks after the province's merger.
