According to a VNA reporter in Tokyo, on May 8, Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike opened the SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025 Exhibition.
Vietnam Digital Transformation Association in Japan (VADX Japan) officially accompanies SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025 - as Ambassador and participates in a series of important activities from May 8-10 at Tokyo Big Sight.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Pham Quang Hieu attended the opening ceremony of SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025 and visited the Vietnam City Booth area, which gathers dozens of Vietnamese information technology (IT) enterprises.
SusHi Tech is an abbreviation of the phrase “Sustainable High City Tech,” organized by the Tokyo Government every May with the largest scale in Asia, to promote Digital Transformation and sustainable development through advanced technology.
The project is international in scope and aims to build Tokyo into a sustainable and innovative megacity.
SusHi also evokes the image of "sushi" - an iconic Japanese dish, thereby demonstrating creativity in combining tradition and modern technology. High City Tech represents the goal of developing cities that are advanced in technology, infrastructure and sustainability.

With the theme “Expanding Connections - Promoting Cooperation,” during the 3 days of SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025, VADX Japan participated in the City Booth - Vietnam City Booth area with many start-up companies from both Vietnam and Japan.
With the aim of affirming the capacity of leading Vietnamese technology enterprises in Japan, more than 30 Vietnamese IT enterprises in Japan gathered at SusHi Tech 2025 to introduce innovative solutions and services. In particular, the event will focus on advanced technology trends such as AI, Blockchain, IoT, Cloud, Robotics...
In an interview with a VNA reporter in Tokyo, NAL Japan Director Nguyen Tuan Anh said he learned a lot during his time working in Japan. According to him, Japan applies many new technologies to life and he also hopes to bring the technologies, knowledge and good experts who have participated in developing the Japanese market to continue developing the Vietnamese market.
Assessing Japan's digital transformation policy, Mr. Le Anh Tuan, CEO of Sanan, said that the Japanese Government has big plans for digital transformation ineducation .
For preschool and primary schools, within the next 2 years, Japan will build a data warehouse on school-age children and then integrate more applications related to artificial intelligence. Mr. Le Anh Tuan commented that this is an opportunity for Vietnamese start-up businesses in the field of digital transformation in education.
Referring to the potential for cooperation between Vietnam and Japan, Mr. Michiaki Matsunaga, a Japanese businessman, said that Japan is lacking IT human resources.
In that situation, Japanese enterprises can combine with a Vietnamese system development company to provide the talent that is lacking in Japan. According to him, Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises can form a very strong alliance in this field.

Sharing with VNA reporters, Mr. Nguyen Hai Duong , Director of Operations of VTI, Co-chair of VADX Japan, said that participating in SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025 is an opportunity to approach many large customers in Japan.
Members of VADX Japan introduced many ideas and products of Vietnam at SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025. Mr. Nguyen Hai Duong said that Vietnamese IT enterprises can combine with Japanese enterprises to come up with solutions in the Japanese market as well as deploy them in Vietnam.
Mr. Nguyen Hai Duong said that VADX Japan has 35 member companies with a total of nearly 7,000 permanent employees and a revenue scale of over 1 billion USD.
He believes that with its strong force, VADX Japan can completely combine with large Japanese enterprises to develop solutions to deploy in Japan and at the same time bring those ideas and solutions to deploy in Vietnam./.
