Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, musician Nguyen Van Chung said he donated all digital music revenue of the song "Continue writing the story of peace" in April to the Veterans Association or the Ho Chi Minh City Veterans Fund.
The male musician expressed: "I want to show my gratitude to the previous generation with a small but practical contribution. This is also a beautiful memory I want to create for an emotional and unexpectedly successful April."
He said he had asked the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for advice on connecting to carry out this work.

Previously, on the afternoon of May 9, at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee awarded certificates of merit to musician Nguyen Van Chung and singer Nguyen Duyen Quynh for spreading the spirit of patriotism through the song " Writing the continuation of the story of peace", especially on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Recently, the song unexpectedly became an online phenomenon with more than 4 billion views on YouTube, TikTok and Facebook, and was performed in many large-scale art programs. In particular, the version performed by Vo Ha Tram and Dong Hung at the April 30th ceremony entered the top 1 trending music on YouTube Vietnam.
At the meeting, Nguyen Van Chung expressed his gratitude to the artists who contributed to spreading the song, especially Nguyen Duyen Quynh, who he said was not afraid of the sun or rain, ready to sing on any stage, from military barracks at noon to remote stages without lights.
Singer Nguyen Duyen Quynh also shared that she will dedicate a portion of the song's revenue in April to soldiers on duty in Truong Sa, where she is preparing to visit in the near future.

On his personal page, Nguyen Van Chung expressed his honor to receive the certificate of merit and considered it the most meaningful gift to give his mother on the first anniversary of her death.
The male musician thanked the agencies for their recognition, and shared his joy with artists, collaborators and audiences who accompanied the song throughout its journey of spreading the message of patriotism.
