The musical is an artistic highlight of the program. The character of the baby Hong, based on the character in the memoir "From the People" by General Vo Nguyen Giap, was chosen as the artistic image throughout. In addition, true stories about the wedding in the De Castries bunker of the couple: female military doctor Nguyen Thi Ngoc Toan and Deputy Commander of the Vanguard Army Cao Van Khanh; letters to those who stayed behind, the heroic sacrifice of soldiers on duty to rescue people during storms and floods... were used as creative inspiration, fully expressing the beautiful and proud image of Uncle Ho's soldiers.
