Serious accident on Phan Thiet highway

BTO-On the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway, through Ham Tan district, a serious traffic accident just occurred between a truck and a tractor trailer, causing the truck driver to die.

The accident occurred on the afternoon of June 23 , near the intersection from the highway to Ham Tan district. At that time, the truck with license plate 51C-453.02 was traveling in the direction of Phan Thiet - Dong Nai .

When approaching the intersection from Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway to Ham Tan district, it collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer in the same direction ahead. The accident killed the truck driver. At the scene, the front of the truck was deformed and stuck to the rear of the tractor-trailer. Traffic police arrived at the scene to regulate traffic.

The Criminal Investigation Agency of Ham Tan District Police came to examine the scene, investigate the accident and request an autopsy. After completing the autopsy , the authorities handed over the victim's body to the family for funeral arrangements .
