Nguyen Hoang Ngoc Anh came to art because of his love for the piano 1 year ago. Realizing that his child loved this art, Mr. Nguyen Tan Hung discussed with his wife, Ms. Hoang Thi Hien, to send their child to Tam Ky to study at a music center. At the center, with the dedicated guidance of the music teacher, Ngoc Anh demonstrated her musical talent with endless passion.
Anh Hung confided: "My child came to music by chance. When listening and watching musicians play the piano, he liked it, so my husband and I asked him and he agreed to go to school. We also thought that if he liked it, we should let him study, because music will help nurture the child's soul from a young age. We didn't think that one day he would be able to participate in competitions. But the teachers discovered his talent, so we let him try, not daring to think that he could win a national gold medal. This surprised the whole family and teachers and made them extremely happy."
The large-scale music competition that Ngoc Anh participated in was a nationwide open competition - Piano Talent Festival 2025, which had its final round at the end of March 2025.
The competition is organized by the Vietnam Institutefor Education and Cultural Development in collaboration with the Department of Culture. The Piano Talent Festival 2025 is for ages 5 to 19 nationwide, divided into 10 groups with 3 categories: Freestyle group, Classic group, Artist group.
Ngoc Anh participated in the freestyle category for non-professional contestants. From the online preliminary round to the semi-finals and finals, Hung's family and Ngoc Anh's teacher always followed closely. Ngoc Anh went from one surprise to another, like an unknown factor of the competition according to the judges' comments.
When she reached the final round, with her excellent performance of the French classical piece Etude la Chevaleresque by Burgmuller, Ngoc Anh conquered the judges.
A small girl from a remote countryside, where very few children get to know and play the piano, created a pleasant surprise at the competition.
In addition to the gold medal she won, Ngoc Anh was also voted the most favorite contestant by the audience at the competition. The prize for the most favorite contestant award was a piano from the organizing committee. And Ngoc Anh and her parents decided to give this piano to her friends at Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School (Tien Son Commune, Tien Phuoc District), along with 2 guitars given by the center where Ngoc Anh studied.

With an innocent and gentle voice, Ngoc Anh happily said: "I am very happy to have won a big prize for the first time when studying piano. My parents and I will give pianos to friends in my hometown, hoping that friends who love music will be able to learn music right at the school they are studying. I also like to learn English, so I will try to study well the subjects I love, studying at school and practicing piano."
