The Tax Department - Ministry of Finance has just issued an urgent notice on the plan to temporarily suspend tax application systems to serve the relocation of the Tax Department's data center.

The main data center migration to the new location will take place from May 23 to June 15. During this time, some tax applications will be temporarily suspended to serve the system migration. The suspension period is to convert the application system from the main data center environment to the backup data center environment and vice versa.

Specifically, the application of electronic invoices will be suspended from 0:00 to 4:00 on May 24 and from 0:00 to 4:00 on June 14.

The electronic tax service application and transmission axis will be temporarily suspended from 6:00 p.m. on May 23 to 4:00 p.m. on May 25 and from 6:00 p.m. on June 13 to 4:00 p.m. on June 15.

From May 23 to June 15, some tax applications will temporarily stop operating to serve the system conversion.

The time the Tax Department's application system is operated at the backup data center (DRC) with performance reaching 70% compared to the main data center is as follows: the electronic invoice application is temporarily suspended from 4:00 a.m. on May 24 to 0:00 a.m. on June 14; the electronic tax service application and the transmission axis are temporarily suspended from 4:00 p.m. on May 25 to 6:00 p.m. on June 13.

The Tax Department's application system will resume operation on the main data center with the electronic invoice application from 4:00 a.m. on June 14; the electronic tax service application and transmission axis from 4:00 p.m. on June 15.

During the system suspension period, taxpayers shall temporarily stop using the electronic invoice application and the electronic tax service application.
