He is particularly interested in topical issues such as how to escape the "middle-income trap," keep pace with the knowledge economy , and move into the world's top ranks in the semiconductor industry and digital transformation.

Promoting education to ignite the aspiration for breakthroughs.

Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW of the Politburo on international integration in the new situation shows that this strategic viewpoint has permeated the highest leadership of the country and is being transformed into a determined action of the entire population. This is also a determination to lift the country out of the "middle-income trap" that could prevent it from achieving breakthroughs.

One point worth reiterating is the ideology of promoting learning, aiming to encourage and call upon young people to read, study, persevere in research and exploration , and invent; in short, to engage their minds to enhance their knowledge. In this era of national progress, we must mobilize the maximum human and material resources, all the material and spiritual resources of the nation, especially the younger generation. The focus should be on strongly developing cultural and intellectual resources to achieve higher levels of development.

The author also highly appreciates the Central Party Committee's numerous initiatives and practical impacts in reviving national spirit, self-reliance, self-confidence, self-strength, and national pride, while simultaneously consolidating social consensus.

The policy of attracting talent from around the world to contribute to national development is a major initiative set forth by the Party and State many years ago. However, perhaps never before has it been so highly valued and effectively implemented with so many concrete measures as it is today. The urgent task that the Party and State have recognized is to establish an optimal policy and system to appropriately and effectively utilize outstanding intellectuals and exceptional talents. This is a necessary condition for the country to rapidly advance, aiming to achieve the status of a developed nation by 2045, with advanced technology, highly developed industry and agriculture, and a high average standard of living and income.

It is an extremely large and arduous task. However, if we have the right, scientific, insightful, and intelligent development strategy, and know how to fully utilize the existing advantages of the nation, then we are capable of accomplishing the task.

Governing the nation through a digital data platform.

Besides national spirit and consciousness, we have rapidly and effectively reformed the methods of national governance, the state apparatus, and the Party apparatus at all levels, with the goal of achieving a smart, modern, and efficient national governance system as soon as possible. Based on Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation of the nation, the Politburo established the Central Steering Committee on the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

The author's foresight goes even further, as he introduces a modern concept for the stature of a smart state in the digital age: governing a smart nation using digital data platforms.

We are gradually developing a smart super app that connects e-government with state agencies and departments from the central to local levels. The use of Big Data in management is a major advantage, aiming to scientifically synchronize information storage systems from the state to individual citizens, ensuring the encryption of all necessary national data and its efficient storage.

The author also predicts that the use of the VNeID super app in smart national governance will yield optimal results in all areas of public administration, especially in the fields of energy, transportation, education, healthcare, and finance and banking. Artificial intelligence (AI) is also making a significant contribution to education, healthcare, and international smart communication.

The work "The Path to the Future" does not shy away from touching upon profound issues, strategic planning for the future of an entire nation and people. This is especially true in the context of humanity itself being in a challenging, complex, even chaotic and uncertain period. From this, the author raises the question: What standards and criteria for development are currently the most correct and reasonable?

Drawing on practical experiences and delving into the lessons learned and socio-political practices of various countries, both Eastern and Western, author Nguyen Xuan Tuan's book offers specific conclusions and answers, including intelligent and practical predictions, which are valuable not only for Vietnam but also for the country itself.

Respecting those conclusions and predictions, we hope that all opinions will be gathered into a multilateral and multipolar forum, contributing even more positively to the author, so that he has the opportunity to complete Volume II of "The Path to the Future".
