Thai Thien Phuong's mother shared that she and her family members are going through a difficult time. They are trying to calm down, escape the overwhelming grief and return to normal life as before. However, this is not easy, because until now, she and her son-in-law Chris are still struggling with the great loss.

"I am going through long days with a heartbreaking feeling. I never thought I would lose my daughter in such a cruel way. Seeing everyone in the family sad makes me even more painful. This separation, this pain of losing flesh and blood will forever be an incurable wound for me," Ms. Truong Yen Hoa shared.

Finally, on behalf of the family, Ms. Truong Yen Hoa thanked the Hong Kong police for their efforts in investigating to bring justice to Thai Thien Phuong as well as the concern and sympathy from her daughter's colleagues, friends and the Chinese public for the family.

According to HK01, Thai Thien Phuong's four children suffered psychological trauma after learning the truth about their mother's death. The children often cried and were mentally unstable. The family had to seek the intervention of social workers and psychologists to help Thai Thien Phuong's children improve their mental health.

Businessman Chris - the victim's husband - also had to undergo psychotherapy to relieve his emotions. According to a close friend of Thai Thien Phuong's family, Chris always burst into tears when hearing someone mention his late wife's name.

On June 18, the family held a funeral and buried the body of Thai Thien Phuong in Hong Kong (China). Thousands of people lined up to pay their respects to Thai Thien Phuong. Relatives used high technology such as 3D printing to reconstruct the face and skull of the unfortunate model.

The murder of Thai Thien Phuong shocked Hong Kong in late February. The model died at the age of 27. Police only found the victim's skull, legs and some bones at the crime scene.

Six suspects were prosecuted, four of whom were from Thai Thien Phuong’s ex-husband’s family. Quang Cau’s father-in-law, Quang Cang Kiet’s brother-in-law, and Quang Cang Tri’s ex-husband were charged with murder.

Ly Thuy Huong’s ex-mother-in-law was charged with obstruction of justice for destroying evidence of her calls and text messages with her husband and children. Her DNA was also found on a jacket found at the scene.

Two others, Lam Thuan (Quang Cang Tri's close friend) and Phan Xao Hien (Quang Cang Tri's new girlfriend) are suspected of helping the criminal escape.

The defendants will appear in court on May 8. Due to the lack of test results for many pieces of evidence and the appearance of new witnesses, the case was adjourned and the case file was returned to the investigation team for further investigation. The next court hearing will take place on July 31.
