Receiving Revolut Financial Technology Group - one of Europe's leading fintech enterprises, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung welcomed Revolut's development orientation and expansion plan in the Asia -Pacific region, including Vietnam.
Affirming that Vietnam is a country with a fast digital transformation speed, a strongly developing digital financial market, and an increasing rate of digital banking service users, the Deputy Prime Minister encouraged Revolut to share international experience in building a comprehensive digital banking model and digital financial risk management.

In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested that Revolut study investment cooperation and deploy fintech services, cross-border payments and personal finance in Vietnam; consider establishing a representative office or technology center in Vietnam, acting as a focal point for developing digital financial products and services for the Southeast Asian region, cooperating in incubating startups, training high-quality human resources and transferring technology in the fintech field.
Revolut currently offers a comprehensive digital financial services ecosystem through its mobile application platform, including: (1) digital banking and multi-currency payments; (2) instant international money transfers and transactions; (3) personal and business financial management; (4) trading in stocks, forex and digital assets; and (5) smart financial solutions based on big data and artificial intelligence.
Serving more than 40 million individual customers and 500,000 businesses, operating in more than 35 countries, valued at approximately 33 billion USD (2024), the Group is expanding to the Asia-Pacific region, identifying Vietnam as a potential market for the development of digital financial services and smart payments.
Immediately after working with Revolut, the Deputy Prime Minister and the delegation discussed a number of cooperation contents with iProov Group.

iProov is a world leader in biometric verification, providing face verification and online user identification solutions, ensuring "real presence" (Genuine Presence Assurance) to prevent fraud and cyber attacks.
The Group is expanding its operations in the Asia-Pacific region, including cooperation with Vietnam in developing digital identification and e-government.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, iProov has anticipated the development trends of the technology industry and the need to ensure safety, network security, and content security in the new context.
Appreciating iProov's experience and biometric authentication technology being applied in national electronic identification programs of many countries with developed digital economies, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested that iProov study the possibility of cooperation in building a digital identification and electronic authentication system (VNeID) in Vietnam, contributing to enhancing data security and safety for people and businesses.
In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister oriented a number of areas that need to promote cooperation between the two sides, such as: Technology transfer, technical consultancy and human resource training in the fields of biometrics, data security, artificial intelligence and cyber security; sharing experience in implementing public-private partnership models on digital identification technology.
Also on the afternoon of October 31 (local time), Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung received Cundall Group, founded in 1976 and headquartered in London, is a leading engineering and construction design consultancy in the UK, specializing in sustainable development and green buildings.
Cundall provides the following services: (1) structural, mechanical and environmental design consultancy; (2) smart urban and infrastructure development; (3) Net Zero Carbon building design; (4) energy-saving and carbon emission reduction planning; and (5) international green building certification consultancy (LEED, BREEAM).
Cundall currently has offices in more than 20 countries, implementing many large-scale projects in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Asia and is oriented to expand cooperation in the Southeast Asia region, including Vietnam, to support design consulting and technology transfer in sustainable urban development, green infrastructure and innovation centers.
The Deputy Prime Minister encouraged Cundall to share and advise Vietnam on experience in applying international standards on: spatial planning, sustainable design; energy optimization; use of environmentally friendly materials; application of technology in urban management...
At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested that Cundall pay attention to and strengthen cooperation in training, technical consultancy and technology transfer for Vietnamese units in the field of green building design and construction, smart infrastructure, and urban planning adapting to climate change; coordinate with NIC to approach domestic universities, research institutes, and enterprises to form training programs for engineers and architects specializing in green and smart cities in Vietnam./.
