The "Understanding the Law on Marriage and Family" competition helps improve the effectiveness of legal education for ethnic minority people in Con Minh commune.

In early December, Con Minh commune successfully organized the "Understanding the Law on Marriage and Family" competition. The competition was held in a theatrical format, with 14 teams and over 100 contestants from particularly disadvantaged villages participating.

Many teams were well-prepared and presented their ideas vividly, creating a highlight for the competition. “For a commune with a majority of ethnic minority residents, diversifying the forms of propaganda, dissemination, and legal education is essential. 'Slow and steady wins the race,' and the awareness and behavior of many households have gradually changed thanks to continuous and extensive propaganda,” affirmed Comrade Sam Van Thuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Con Minh commune.

2025 is the year when the Party, the State, and the province will focus on leading and directing the implementation of many important tasks to develop the country in the new era, especially the merger of administrative units and the deployment of a two-tiered local government model.

In this context, the work of disseminating and educating about the law continues to receive close attention and guidance from all levels and sectors in the province. As a result, this work has been implemented synchronously, comprehensively, and with many innovations, linked to the tasks of the province.

The methods of disseminating and educating about the law are diverse and rich, effectively combining traditional and new forms of legal dissemination, and promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation.

To highlight Vietnam Law Day (November 9th), the online competition "Understanding Laws and Policies for People in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas" was held throughout the province, attracting 12,499 participants.

The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 11 collectives and 24 individuals with the highest achievements, contributing to the innovation of methods for disseminating legal information and improving people's access to the law.

In 2025, provincial-level agencies and units organized 3,384 awareness campaigns, with over 600,000 participants. Specialized agencies compiled and distributed legal education materials including books, newspapers, legal handbooks, leaflets, brochures, awareness outlines, and online materials, totaling 2,822 original documents.

In addition, localities organized 1,754 legal awareness and dissemination sessions for 166,982 participants, distributed 23,359 legal documents, leaflets, and publications, along with thousands of news articles and features disseminated through loudspeakers, fanpages, and electronic billboards.

Comrade Hoang Thu Chung, Deputy Director of the Department of Justice, affirmed: Shared responsibility in legal education and dissemination has contributed to raising awareness and compliance with the law among the general public, especially ethnic minorities, contributing to maintaining political security and social order in the area. Diversifying forms of propaganda and promoting digital transformation are the "keys" to improving the effectiveness of this work in the ethnic minority areas of the province.
