After 15 minutes of opening the regular order matching transaction, Vinpearl's VPL shares increased to the ceiling, reaching the limit of 20% on the first day. VPL shares turned purple, reaching 85,500 VND/share with 4,000 units traded. The buyer side has more than 1 million units waiting at the ceiling price but there are no sellers. This is the 4th company in the Vingroup ecosystem of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong to list shares on HOSE.

With nearly 1.8 billion shares in circulation, Vinpearl has a market capitalization of more than VND153,000 billion - in the top 15 companies by largest market capitalization on HOSE. In total, the market capitalization of 4 Vingroup companies on HOSE is more than VND750,000 billion. Currently, Vingroup Corporation (stock code VIC) of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong is the largest shareholder at Vinpearl, owning 1.5 billion VPL shares, equivalent to 85.5% of charter capital.

The official trading of Vinpearl shares on the stock exchange has brought billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's assets to a record high. According to Forbes' estimates this morning (May 13), this billionaire's assets reached 9.2 billion USD - the highest level ever according to Forbes magazine's estimates. This asset figure has increased nearly 4 times compared to the beginning of this year. Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong is currently ranked 323rd richest person on the planet in Forbes' rankings. With this asset value, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong is in the top billionaires in Southeast Asia.
