Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi affirmed that the event marked an important milestone in the development journey of one of the world's leading corporations in software programming and electronic games in Da Nang.

Five years ago, amid the Covid-19 outbreak and complicated developments globally, Ubisoft Da Nang officially opened. It was not an easy start, but one full of courage and determination.

In a short time, Ubisoft Da Nang quickly expanded its scale, participating in the production of high-quality mobile games, playing an increasingly large role in the global value chain of Ubisoft Group.

In particular, many creative ideas designed and developed right in Da Nang have become typical products in the international market. This is a testament to the talent and innovative spirit of the team of engineers and staff here.

Da Nang City identifies the information technology, electronics, telecommunications, and artificial intelligence industry associated with the digital economy as one of the strategic pillars in its development orientation for the coming time.

Currently, Da Nang has 3 concentrated information technology zones recognized by the Prime Minister. The city is also investing in many innovation spaces, developing digital infrastructure, strongly improving the investment environment and improving the quality of life from the healthcare system, education to urban utilities to attract and retain domestic and foreign talents... Therefore, Da Nang city always pays special attention to training high-quality human resources and has policies to attract talents to work and live in the city.

Vice Chairwoman of the City People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi was very impressed to learn that a product developed by the Ubisoft Da Nang team was nominated for the title of “Best Quality Game on Mobile Devices” at an international event held in New York. This is not only the pride of Ubisoft, but also the pride of Da Nang as a whole.

That success shows that Ubisoft Da Nang is an innovation center, a typical model, actively contributing to the development of the digital industry in general and the gaming industry in particular in Vietnam.

Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi affirmed that the city government will always accompany and create the most favorable conditions for Ubisoft as well as technology enterprises to develop sustainably in Da Nang.

At the same time, it is expected that, with the determination and support of the city government and the continuous development of typical technology enterprises such as Ubisoft, Da Nang will gradually affirm its role as a leading technology and innovation center in the region.
