The province currently has over 162,000 youths. Closely following the reality and needs of the grassroots, the education and lifestyle orientation work for the young generation has been systematically implemented by the Provincial Youth Union, bringing about clear results. In particular, the movement "One good news every day, one beautiful story every week" continues to spread strongly, becoming a close and useful information channel for youths in the whole province.
A healthy living environment for young people is also fostered by meaningful traditional education activities. More than 14,000 children have visited relics and museums, directly learning about the nation's history. Along with that, 15 young propaganda teams have brought revolutionary stories to 27 "red addresses", helping children feel more proud of their homeland's traditions; 5 revolutionary song festivals have attracted over 6,000 union members and children to participate, creating a space for the young generation to express their love for the country through songs and singing.

Reading culture activities, summer playgrounds, and children's festivals attract tens of thousands of participants, gradually forming the habit of studying, learning new knowledge and life skills. Teacher Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai, Chieng Sung Primary & Secondary School, shared: Thanks to the support of the Youth Union, students can participate in many useful activities such as reading festivals and life skills experience programs. Through each activity, students become more confident, active, and united.
The Youth Union organizations also built practical works and playgrounds for children, such as: The campaign "For beloved juniors" had 65 works built, supporting 12,480 children, worth 1.1 billion VND. Mr. Giang A Lanh, Secretary of the Youth Union of Phieng Pan Commune, shared: Since having the playground, children have had safer and more beneficial playing conditions. Although the project is small, it brings great joy to both parents and teachers, because the children now have a healthy and connected living space right in the school.
Along with that, the Provincial Youth Union also focuses on taking care of the lives and encouraging the learning spirit of young people. In just 9 months, 570 scholarships worth more than 300 million VND were awarded; nearly 1 billion VND was mobilized to support 10,000 children in difficult circumstances.

Ms. Bui Thi Thu Phuong, Deputy Head of the Youth Union and Children's Affairs Department, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, informed: In the coming time, the Youth Union will continue to mobilize more resources from the community, businesses, and social organizations to implement many practical projects and tasks, ensuring that children and youth in the whole province have a more comprehensive learning, training and development environment.
The numbers, projects and stories from the grassroots are the efforts of Son La Provincial Youth Union in building a healthy, safe and beneficial living environment for young people. With a synchronous and creative approach, the Youth Union organization increasingly affirms its role as a reliable support, accompanying the young generation in the highlands on their journey to adulthood.
