Identifying occupational safety and hygiene as the key factor to maintain stable operations and long-term development, over the years, Proterial Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Tan Truong Industrial Park, Cam Giang) has always focused on and proactively implemented comprehensive solutions to improve the effectiveness of this work. The company has completed the Occupational Safety and Hygiene Board and built a network of occupational safety and hygiene workers in all departments right from the first days of operation to ensure that safety monitoring and implementation are consistent and strict in all stages of production.

To prevent risks during machine operation, the Trade Union of Proterial Vietnam Co., Ltd. closely coordinates with the company's leaders to promote propaganda and disseminate knowledge of occupational safety and hygiene to all employees; proactively advises on organizing periodic health check-ups and occupational diseases for all workers, ensuring the rights and health of employees.

During the process of reviewing safety regulations, the union advised the company on providing labor protection equipment in accordance with regulations. In particular, the union always helps the company review, evaluate and receive opinions from employees to send to the board of directors to complete labor safety policies in a more timely and appropriate manner .

Workplace accidents are something no one wants. According to the labor management agency, in 2024, Hai Duong had 142 workplace accidents. This number has decreased compared to 2023, but not much (in 2023, Hai Duong recorded 145 workplace accidents). The labor management agency in Hai Duong has set a goal to focus on inspecting and carefully reviewing industries with high risks of occupational accidents, and strictly handling violators.

Implementing the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation will actively promote propaganda and raise awareness of occupational safety and hygiene, especially in small and medium enterprises - where there are still many limitations in ensuring occupational safety.

Trade unions at all levels will actively inspect and monitor the implementation of laws on occupational safety and hygiene, coordinate with relevant agencies to assess and identify risks in enterprises. At the same time, continue to implement the movements "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", "Initiatives for technical improvement, improving working conditions", building a culture of occupational safety...
