
Implementing the plan for the peak period of fighting to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property infringement in the province, the Department of Science and Technology is inspecting compliance with regulations on standards, measurements, product quality, trademarks, etc. at many stores and businesses selling gasoline, oil, and liquefied petroleum gas in the province.

On May 28 and 29, the inspection team of the Department of Science and Technology inspected 7 petrol and oil stores in Hai Duong city and Thanh Mien, Gia Loc and Nam Sach districts.
Preliminary inspection results show that gasoline and oil businesses import goods from a number of distribution units inside and outside the province.

Regarding measurement, 32/32 pump nozzles have valid inspection certificates; seals and lead clamps at the measuring chamber, pulse set, and program IC are intact; measurement errors of gasoline and oil meet the requirements according to regulations.
The gasoline samples were quickly tested and basically met the requirements. The businesses complied with the regulations on trademark registration and use, and no establishments were found to have signs of violating industrial property rights.

The peak period of the fight to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property infringement in the province took place from May 27 to June 15.
