Training on management and use of digital signatures for public service

VHO - On the morning of August 8, the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Ngai province organized a training course on management and use of digital signatures for public service for nearly 150 officials, civil servants and public employees who are the focal points for deploying the application of digital signatures at the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones across the province, online via Zoom software.

The training course provided guidance on the management process of digital signatures used for public service in Quang Ngai province; instructions on how to submit documents online at the Digital Signature Certification Service Portal for public service; instructions on how to install and configure to use digital signatures used for public service.

At the same time, answer questions and difficulties of units and localities in the process of implementing digital signatures at their units.

Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Ngai province Nguyen Quoc Huy Hoang said that the department has focused resources and arranged many staff to promptly support this work for units and localities in the province. According to statistics, the total number of active digital certificates issued in Quang Ngai province is only 15,273, including 2,509 organizational digital certificates and 12,764 personal digital certificates.

In July 2025, the Department supported units to issue more than 500 new digital certificates, change information for more than 4,000 devices, and unlock about 400 devices.

Through training to enhance the initiative of localities, ensure the implementation of digital signatures is smooth, safe and effective. The focal point at each unit will be the core force to deploy and support the application of digital signatures in public service activities at the grassroots level.
