Training on leadership and management skills in environmental protection work

At Nguyen Van Cu Political School, on the morning of April 21, Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee coordinated with Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to organize the opening of a training course to update knowledge and skills in leadership and management of environmental protection and climate change response for cadres and civil servants in the area.

The training course took place over 2 days, April 21 and 22. Attending the training course, 80 trainees who are officials and civil servants at the commune, ward and town levels of the province will listen to a reporter from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics directly convey a number of contents related to: The Party's policies, legal policies, and State programs on environmental protection, climate change response, towards sustainable development. Updating knowledge, sharing information on the current status of environmental protection, climate change response in Vietnam and some localities; Impacts of environmental pollution, climate change on people's livelihoods. At the same time, creating a forum for officials and lecturers in the natural resources and environment sector to meet, share experiences, difficulties, obstacles as well as solutions in implementing environmental protection work, responding to climate change in localities.

Thereby, contributing to raising awareness, responsibility, and management skills of local leaders and managers in environmental protection, climate change response, and sustainable development.
