Concentrating on site clearance in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park

(DN) - On November 19, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha chaired a meeting with departments, branches, Provincial Land Fund Development Center and branches to listen to reports on the progress of compensation and land acquisition to implement the Project of Converting Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an Urban - Commercial - Service Area and improving the environment, public investment projects still facing difficulties in site clearance and construction of resettlement areas in the province.

According to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, regarding the compensation and land acquisition work to implement the Project of Converting Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an Urban - Commercial - Service Area and Environmental Improvement, currently, with Area 1 having a total area of ​​50.5 hectares (of which, the land area that must have a compensation and land acquisition plan is nearly 34 hectares), more than 40 hectares of land, equivalent to 80% of the area, have completed the land acquisition work. Of this, more than 20 hectares have not been fully handed over by enterprises due to incomplete relocation.

With area 2, with a total area of ​​more than 103 hectares (the land area that must have a compensation and land recovery plan is nearly 75 hectares), there are now more than 47 hectares of "clean land", equivalent to nearly 46% of the area. With area 3, with a total area of ​​175 hectares (the land area that must have a compensation and land recovery plan is 128 hectares), there are now more than 60 hectares of "clean land", equivalent to 35% of the area.

Regarding about 150 public investment projects in the province that are facing difficulties in site clearance, according to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, the Department of Finance has also classified the causes of the difficulties. Specifically, there are 49 projects that people have not agreed to implement; 2 projects have problems related to Dong Nai Rubber Corporation One Member Co., Ltd.; for the remaining projects, the People's Committees at the commune level are in the process of performing the following tasks: determining land prices, approving compensation plans and handling other problems related to land origin...

Regarding the construction of resettlement areas, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center was assigned to be the investor in building 3 resettlement areas. Up to now, 1 area has started construction, 1 area is preparing to start construction and 1 area is expected to start construction in 2026.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha requested the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and related units to focus on completing the relocation and site clearance at Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park by the end of 2025. Currently, the progress is about 4 months behind schedule. Therefore, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center must develop an implementation plan to complete within the remaining 40 days of 2025.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha also assigned the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to advise the Provincial People's Committee to assign tasks and specific completion times for the site clearance of 150 projects that are still stuck. Along with that, advise the Provincial People's Committee on a specific plan to deploy the construction of resettlement areas to serve projects in the province in the coming time.
