Focus on supplying rice seeds according to the Program to support farmers in areas affected by storms and floods.

According to Decision No. 3485/QD-UBND dated November 4, 2025 of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, in the 2025-2026 winter-spring crop, the whole province has 149 communes and wards heavily affected by storms and floods, which will be supported with 7 rice varieties from the national reserve with over 1,600 tons.

Vietnam Seed Group Corporation focuses on packaging rice seeds.

In order to provide timely and quality rice varieties to the people, the two units assigned to supply, Vietnam Seed Group Corporation and Thua Thien Hue Seeds and Livestock Corporation, have focused on human resources and equipment to package and coordinate with local authorities to transport the varieties to the People's Committees of communes to sign for delivery to each household. The rice varieties include Khang Dan Mut Mut, Bac Thom No. 7, Nep 97, VNR20 and J02.

According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Duc, Director of Vietnam Seed Group Corporation: "The company has increased its workforce to soon complete the packaging and transportation of seeds to farmers. All seeds are inspected by specialized forces and ensure quality and quantity in accordance with state agency regulations."

The units strive to complete the transportation and supply of seeds before December 15, 2025, so that farmers can sow rice seedlings and produce the 2025-2026 spring crop on time according to the crop schedule. Currently, they have supplied to 7 communes and wards.
