Comrade Tran Quoc Tuan, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department chaired the conference. Attending the conference were comrades who were central reporters, provincial reporters, heads of the Propaganda and Training Departments of Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee, heads and deputy heads of the Political Theory Departments of universities and colleges in the province, leaders and officials in charge of propaganda work of mass organizations in the province.
At the conference, Comrade Tran Quoc Tuan, Standing Committee member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Central reporter reported on the topic of the task of protecting sovereignty over seas, islands, and the southern continental shelf in 2023 on the contents related to the current disputes in the East Sea; activities of relevant countries in the East Sea and forecasts of the situation affecting Vietnam in the coming time. Dr. Pham Quoc Thoi, Provincial Party Committee member, Principal of Tra Vinh Provincial Political School reported on the topic of changes in the world situation and Vietnam's foreign policy.
Comrade Tran Quoc Tuan reported on the situation and tasks of protecting sovereignty over seas, islands and continental shelves in the South in 2023.
Orienting the propaganda work in the coming time, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Duong My Pha requested reporters at all levels and grassroots propagandists to focus on propagating : goals, tasks, solutions for socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security, Party building, building the political system in the spirit of the Provincial Party Committee's Resolution 2023; mid-term review of the implementation of resolutions of Party congresses at all levels, term 2020 - 2025;
Propagating and popularizing new laws and resolutions passed by the 15th National Assembly at the 4th session and the 2nd extraordinary session; disseminating the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and the leadership and direction activities of Party committees and authorities at all levels in the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity; emphasizing propaganda on 3 draft laws: Law on People's Public Security (amended); Law on Citizen Identification (amended); Law on Forces participating in protecting security and order.
Propaganda about the third political contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, the writing contest "Implementing the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress - Tra Vinh Aspiration"; the press work contest on the topic "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" for the period 2022 - 2025.
Promote propaganda for the implementation of the 2023 theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style on promoting the strength of great national unity, arousing the aspiration to build Tra Vinh homeland to develop in the new period" associated with the preliminary summary of the implementation of the model "Above sets an exemplary example, below actively follows"; direction and administration of the Government, Prime Minister, ministries and branches in directing the removal of difficulties, promoting production and business activities; work to prevent and control epidemics in humans, crops and livestock, especially the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in the new situation; work to ensure food hygiene and safety; prevention and control of natural disasters; prevention and control of all types of crimes and social evils, maintaining political security, social order and safety, traffic safety, etc.
