At the recently concluded Indonesia Masters II badminton tournament, part of the BWF World Tour Super 100 series, Nguyen Hai Dang impressively reached the semi-finals in the men's singles event. This achievement earned him 3,850 ranking points and $1,595 (approximately 40 million VND). This is also one of the most outstanding international achievements to date for the 25-year-old player.
Aiming for a higher ranking and to best prepare for the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand this December, Nguyen Hai Dang continues to participate in international tournaments. From November 4th to 9th, Nguyen Hai Dang will compete in the 2025 Korea Masters badminton tournament, part of the BWF World Tour Super 300 system. With his current ranking, he has been automatically qualified for the main draw in the men's singles event and is expected to perform at a high level.
Also on today's BWF rankings, Vietnam's number one badminton player, Nguyen Thuy Linh, is ranked 22nd in the women's singles. Nguyen Thuy Linh will also participate in the 2025 Korea Masters badminton tournament along with Nguyen Hai Dang.
