Master, Doctor Bui Thi Van Anh was voted one of the 10 typical young Vietnamese doctors for the 11th time.

In 2020, Master, Doctor Van Anh implemented the technique of retinal optical coherence tomography and retinal angiography at Quang Tri Eye Hospital. With the contribution of this young female doctor, from 2020 to present, Quang Tri Eye Hospital has implemented 4 new techniques: retinal angiography, OCT angiography, intraocular injection and laser photocoagulation.

These are new techniques in ophthalmology performed at major eye centers and hospitals in the country. The first implementation of these techniques in Quang Tri has helped detect and effectively classify retinal diseases, reduce the rate of blindness, preserve vision and save time and costs for patients.

Regarding scientific research, this female doctor is the author and co-author of 5 international topics and reports, including 2 provincial-level scientific initiatives in which she is the main author, namely: Initiative for stereoscopic imaging using a color fundus camera to diagnose macular edema (won the Encouragement Prize at the Quang Tri Provincial Technical Innovation Contest in 2019) and initiative for multi-layer autologous conjunctival transplantation to treat corneal ulcers at risk of perforation (won the Third Prize at the Quang Tri Provincial Technical Innovation Contest and the Creative Labor Certificate of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2021).

In her role as President of the Young Physicians Association of Quang Tri province, Dr. Van Anh has implemented and coordinated the implementation of activities to examine, consult, and give free medicine to thousands of people in difficult circumstances and young people in the communes of A Bung (Dakrong district), Huong Linh, and Lia (Huong Hoa district).

In addition, Dr. Van Anh also participated in the 2024 International Youth Volunteer Campaign in Noong District, Savannakhet Province, Laos. Under the doctor's leadership, the Quang Tri Province Young Physicians Association received the Emulation Flag for excellent units in association work and youth movements in 2024 awarded by the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union.

With the above achievements, Master, Doctor CKII Bui Thi Van Anh was honored to be selected by the Council of Selecting Outstanding Young Vietnamese Physicians for the 11th time as 1 of 10 examples of "Outstanding Young Vietnamese Physicians for the 11th time - Young Physicians who are pioneers, striving in the new era" taking place on May 10 in Hung Yen province.
