According to Khaosod newspaper, the total economic value circulating in Thailand - through this tournament - is estimated at about 8.4 billion baht, equivalent to more than 260 million USD.
This figure comes from the spending of tournament participants, as well as the media effect that the tournament brings.
Of this total revenue, the media value accounts for the largest portion, at about 5.6 billion baht. This is revenue from television copyright, as well as other forms of broadcasting.
The event was widely broadcast around the world, helping Thailand's name appear continuously on international channels, thereby enhancing the country's image as a leading tourism and sports destination in Southeast Asia.
This effect is considered by Thai officials as "pure gold" for the tourism industry for many years to come.
Besides, the flow of international tourists to Thailand to watch the matches also creates a significant source of revenue.
According to the Thai Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the number of foreign visitors to Bangkok and the host cities increased sharply during the competition period.

Hotels, catering, transport and shopping directly benefited, with an estimated value of 2.1 billion baht. Domestic consumption was also boosted by the tournament.
To prepare for the tournament, the Thai government has spent more than 1.1 billion baht, equivalent to about 30 million USD. This money is allocated to upgrading facilities, ensuring security, as well as organizing promotional activities.
Compared to the economic value of more than 260 million USD, this investment is considered extremely effective, helping Thailand earn a profit of more than 200 million USD.
According to comments from Nation Thailand newspaper, the success of hosting the 2025 Volleyball World Championship promises to help Thailand maintain its position as the "king of event organization" in Southeast Asia, and continue to aim to host many world-class tournaments in the future.
