At the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial Area (Cam Lam District, Khanh Hoa Province), the Dan Tri Newspaper delegation offered incense and flowers to commemorate the 64 heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Gac Ma incident in 1988 to protect the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland's sea and islands.
Immediately afterwards, the delegation visited and presented Mid-Autumn gifts to the family of Major Tran Thi Thuy, daughter of martyr Tran Van Phuong - who sacrificed his life in the Gac Ma incident in 1988, and two families of officers of Naval Region 4 who were on duty in Truong Sa.

On behalf of the delegation, journalist Pham Tuan Anh, Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri newspaper, kindly visited and expressed deep gratitude to the great contributions of martyr Tran Van Phuong, his family and the officers and soldiers who are on duty day and night to guard the peace of the Fatherland in Truong Sa.

On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Dan Tri newspaper and other units and organizations sent gifts to share the difficulties of the families of soldiers on duty in Truong Sa, especially the children on the Mid-Autumn Festival without their parents.
"I hope you will have a warm Mid-Autumn Festival, full of joy and laughter. I wish the relatives of the officers and soldiers working in Truong Sa good health to be a solid support for their husbands and fathers to have peace of mind in their work, protect the sovereignty of the homeland's sea and islands, and contribute to the country's cause," shared the Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri newspaper.

Major Tran Thi Thuy said she really appreciated the gift from the working delegation of Dan Tri newspaper and the Vietnam Sea and Islands Association.
According to Ms. Thuy, following her father's tradition, she and her husband are now working with the Navy Region 4 to contribute to protecting the Fatherland in Truong Sa.
