The Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway rest stop through Ninh Thuan province is facing difficulties in site clearance. It is expected that this station will be put into operation and exploitation in August 2026.
On March 5, the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway Management Board (under Project Management Board 85) said that the investor of the Km90+900 rest stop in Nhon Son commune (Ninh Son district, Ninh Thuan province) has selected a contractor and will start construction as soon as the site is handed over, expected to start in May 2025.

Currently, the project enterprise has selected the design consultant and construction contractor for the project and is organizing the implementation of the next steps.
Mr. Bui Lai, Director of the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway Management Board, said that the Board has worked with the locality many times on site clearance. In March 2024, the Board handed over the documents and site clearance boundaries to the Ninh Son District People's Committee to carry out compensation and clearance work.
However, up to now, 5/10 households owning 6.55ha/7.4ha of additional land acquisition area have not agreed to hand over the site.
On the other hand, the areas where people have agreed to hand over the land are not contiguous, leading to the contractor still not being able to carry out construction.
In early February 2025, the Ninh Son District Land Fund Development Center (Ninh Thuan Province) posted a plan for compensation and resettlement support.
After the end of the posting period as announced, the locality will invite people to a meeting to get their opinions on the compensation, support and resettlement plan.
In cases where the compensation and resettlement support plan is agreed upon, the locality will complete the compensation and support plan, pay compensation and implement land recovery.
According to the schedule, the investor is expected to start the project in May 2025 and complete construction in August 2026.
While waiting for the construction rest stop to be put into operation, there are two temporary rest stops at Km 113 (intersection of Provincial Road 709, Thuan Nam District) in operation on the route, so drivers and road users can stop and rest at these two stations.
According to the planning of the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway rest stop located at Km 90+900, Nhon Son commune (Ninh Son district, Ninh Thuan province), the expressway rest stop is about 10 hectares wide (each side of the road is 5 hectares wide).
Construction items include free public services such as parking lots, restrooms, rest areas, temporary rest rooms for drivers, and first aid for traffic accidents. In addition, the station also has commercial facilities such as restaurants, gas stations, repair service stations, etc.
