Sublimation with colors: 10 teams compete at the 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival

In the brilliant sky of the Han River, viewers not only admire technical performances, but also immerse themselves in stories imbued with the unique culture and identity of each country. The teams competing in this section all have something in common: they are inspired by tradition, history and national depth to put into each series of fireworks.

Host representative - Vietnamese aspiration

At DIFF 2025, the two host teams from Vietnam brought their own unique nuances, demonstrating the spirit of innovation and integration.

Da Nang – Vietnam Team, established in 2008, is the first representative of the country to participate in the international fireworks competition. With international standard facilities and a team of technicians trained abroad, the team has made its mark many times at festivals, including First Prize at GlobalFest (Canada, 2014) and Third Prizes in Da Nang in 2012, 2013, 2015. Although not often participating in international competitions, the team is still the pride of the city with its splendid and brilliant performance style.

Along with that, Z121 VINA PYROTECH - a unit of the Ministry of National Defense , brings the image of talented Vietnamese soldiers and workers. With nearly 30 years of experience in fireworks production, Z121's products are now widely used at major festivals in Japan. Participating in DIFF this year, the team not only performed fireworks art but also introduced high-quality products, demonstrating the autonomy and advanced technology of the Vietnamese defense fireworks industry.

In addition, 8 participating international teams created a world-class playground with performances that were refined from technique to art.

Faseecom Co., Ltd (Korea) was established in 2003, is a symbol of the spirit of continuous creativity in the field of fireworks and entertainment. With a young and professional team, the team has conquered many international stages such as Seafire (Australia, 2019), Macau (2018), Philippines (2018, 2024), always bringing new ideas and modern visual effects.

China representative – Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Fireworks Display, although a new name (established in 2021), has quickly affirmed its position with more than 60 technicians and hundreds of modern equipment. The team regularly appears at major domestic festivals such as National Day celebrations, lantern festivals, and is gradually reaching out internationally with sophisticated performances.

From Portugal, Macedos Pirotecnia is one of the oldest names in the world of fireworks, with over 90 years of history. Built on a family tradition since 1934, the team combines traditional techniques with modern technology, creating unique and dazzling effects. They have won numerous awards at prestigious competitions in Canada, France, Russia, Czech Republic and the Philippines.

Fireworks of the Finnish team

Surex Firma Rodzinna (Poland) is a family business operating since 1993, known for its ability to combine fireworks with laser lights and music. The team has an impressive series of achievements with many First Prizes at festivals in Germany, France, China, Poland and won the Most Creative Fireworks Award in Da Nang 2023.

Martarello Group (Italy), founded in 1921, has a history of nearly a century of tradition and innovation. With a wide distribution and performance network, the group has won many high prizes in Da Nang and major festivals such as Pyronale (Berlin) or Samobor (Croatia). They are famous for their sophisticated staging techniques and emotional performance design.

Joho Pyro Professional (Finland) is a representative of Northern creativity. Since 2004, the team has continuously expanded its influence with special designs of firecracker shells and gunpowder. They have won First Prize in Paris (2024), Quebec (2023), Cannes (2016) and have been honored many times by Da Nang audiences with the Audience Choice Award.

Orion Fireworks (Canada), a family-owned business from Quebec, puts on more than 150 shows each year. The team is known for their ability to combine fireworks and traditional music, creating intimate and intimate performances. Their performances range from Macau to festivals in their home country of Sherbrooke and Quebec.

Finally, Pyrotex Fireworx Ltd (UK), founded in 1999, stands out with its emotional staging techniques and captivating performance style. The team has continuously won at festivals in the UK, France, Canada, Poland and the Philippines, and is one of the favorite and highly appreciated names at every playground they participate in.
