Quang Tri Citadel – The indomitable symbol of the nation
The Second Battle of Quang Tri was a 1972 battle between the People's Liberation Army of South Vietnam, supported logistically by the People's Army of Vietnam, and the United States Army and the Army of the Republic of Vietnam in the Quang Tri Citadel area. This was one of the fiercest battles of the 1972 Spring-Summer Campaign of the Vietnam War.
