In Lang Chanh district, with the motto of "slow and steady wins the race", regardless of rain or shine, holidays, district social insurance officers always take advantage of the time when people are at home to visit each house to propagate and mobilize. Small groups divide into each village and hamlet; coordinate with organizations in the village and hamlet to integrate propaganda into common activities for people to easily access..., so the social insurance and health insurance policies have come closer to the people.
Accordingly, as of May 24, 2024, the whole district had 2,049 people participating in compulsory social insurance; 914 people participating in voluntary social insurance; 1,635 people participating in voluntary social insurance; 40,757 people participating in health insurance, the health insurance coverage rate of the whole district reached 84.8%.
Mr. Vu Cao Cuong, Director of Lang Chanh District Social Insurance, said: Identifying propaganda work as an important solution in raising awareness and responsibility of people and businesses about social insurance and health insurance policies, in recent times, the district Social Insurance has deployed diverse forms of communication, developing social insurance and health insurance participants, especially efforts to bring voluntary social insurance and family health insurance policies closer to the people.
To ensure good policies and benefits, create favorable conditions for participants to enjoy social insurance and health insurance policies, the district Social Insurance has strengthened administrative reform, gradually and effectively implemented digital transformation in administrative transactions; at the same time, coordinated with medical examination and treatment facilities to deploy the use of chip-embedded citizen identification cards and install VssID?? software for people to use instead of paper health insurance cards when going to see a doctor or get medical treatment; facilities and quality of medical examination and treatment have also been gradually improved, better serving the health care needs of people in the area.
In the coming time, the district Social Insurance will continue to advise local Party committees and authorities on solutions to develop social insurance and health insurance participants; continue to review data from tax authorities to develop social insurance participants at enterprises; coordinate with all levels and sectors to promote communication work to raise people's awareness of implementing social insurance and health insurance policies.
Ensure the participants' benefits and rights are correct, sufficient and timely.
In Muong Lat district, according to Decision No. 861/2021 of the Government , Muong Lat has 8 communes and towns in the 3rd region of special difficulties, with 100% of the population supported by the State to participate in free health insurance. By the end of 2023, Muong Lat's health insurance coverage rate will reach 99%. The number of people participating in social insurance is nearly 2,000, of which over 400 people participate in voluntary social insurance.
In the past 3 years, the health insurance coverage rate in the district has always reached 98% or more, and the number of voluntary social insurance participants has developed steadily. In the process of implementing social insurance and health insurance policies in the area, the Muong Lat district social insurance agency always focuses on ensuring that the regime and benefits of participants are correct, sufficient, and timely. In addition, propaganda work is always focused on, ensuring flexibility, proactiveness, creativity, and high efficiency.
Mr. Ngan Van Hao, a resident of Muong Lat town, shared: “Recently, social insurance officers regularly visited households to promote awareness, thereby helping us understand the practical benefits of social insurance and health insurance. I voluntarily participated immediately.”
In order to create conditions for people in the district to access, participate in and enjoy social insurance and health insurance policies, in recent times, officers and employees of the social insurance sector of Muong Lat district have constantly strived to overcome difficulties, such as crossing passes, wading streams, and going through dangerous areas to meet, propagate, and bring policies closer to ethnic minorities and people in the entire district.
In addition to doing a good job of advising the Party Committee and the government to issue documents directing local sectors and units in the district to effectively implement social insurance and health insurance policies; the Muong Lat district social insurance sector also focuses on improving the spirit and responsibility of sector officials, striving to fulfill all assigned targets and tasks.
Currently, the work of promoting the development of social insurance and health insurance participants is being simultaneously deployed by the Social Insurance Agency throughout the province. The Social Insurance Agency has closely coordinated with the postal sector to organize conferences to promote social insurance and health insurance policies, replicate advanced models in mobilizing and promoting people to participate in social insurance and health insurance; promote policies on mass media of communes, wards and towns, with specific illustrations to bring the policy closer to the people; assign specific targets to each unit and collection agent; evaluate and propose solutions to overcome and remove difficulties arising during the implementation process every quarter. The Provincial Social Insurance strives to always exceed the set plans and targets by the end of 2024 and the following years.
