Trung Ly Commune Delegation (Muong Lat) volunteered to support the transportation of house building materials for poor households.
Implementing the peak emulation campaign of youth volunteers joining hands to support the construction of houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province in 2024-2025 in conjunction with the implementation of Directive No. 22-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, from the beginning of 2025, the Provincial Youth Union has directed 100% of youth volunteer teams in districts, towns, and city youth unions to participate in supporting the construction of houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties. Accordingly, during Youth Month, as of March 20, the entire union has established 133 youth volunteer teams, with 1,311 young union members participating in the support.
In Muong Lat district, the Trung Ly Commune Youth Union promoted the spirit of volunteering to support the transportation of house building materials, leveling the ground, and cleaning the household of Ms. Luong Thi Hom, Tao village (a lonely elderly person). Unable to hide her joy and happiness, Ms. Luong Thi Hom said: “For many years, I have had to live in a seriously degraded house. Recently, my family received financial support from the State to build a new house, and the local government and the Youth Union of the commune regularly came to encourage and support us with working days during the house construction process. I am very grateful for this support and attention.”
In the districts of Nhu Thanh, Trieu Son, Quang Xuong, the Youth Union coordinated with Happy New Joint Stock Company and Nanomex paint brand to organize the handover of water-based paint to families in the communes of Phu Nhuan, Mau Lam, Xuan Du, Can Khe, Thanh Ky, Xuan Phuc, Xuan Khang (Nhu Thanh); Tien Nong, Dong Tien, Dong Loi, An Nong, Tho The (Trieu Son); Quang Khe (Quang Xuong)... Through the activities, it has contributed to reducing the cost of building houses for households; at the same time, it shows the solidarity, contribution, sharing, and companionship of businesses and philanthropists with the Party Committee and government to effectively implement social security activities in the area.
According to the report of the Provincial Youth Union, the preliminary summary of phase 1 of the campaign to support housing construction for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province in the two years of 2024-2025 in conjunction with the implementation of Directive No. 22-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the provincial Youth Union at all levels has established and deployed 393 volunteer youth teams, with 8,550 youth union members participating in supporting and assisting in the construction of 725 houses in the province; mobilizing donations through the Vietnam Fatherland Front channel of nearly 1.4 billion VND. In addition to the funding contributed through the Vietnam Fatherland Front channel, the entire delegation also mobilized contributions of more than 2.59 billion VND, mobilized support in construction materials worth nearly 2.6 billion VND, helping families clear the site, dismantle houses, clear, dig foundations, transport construction materials, etc.
In the coming time, the Provincial Youth Union will continue to maintain and expand the model of youth volunteers joining hands to support the construction of houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province in the 2 years 2024-2025; mobilize youth union members to participate in helping with working days, cleaning, painting houses... to help people soon have new houses and stabilize their lives. Thereby, contributing to joining hands with the Party Committee and the government to complete the targets of building houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province in 2025.
