In Ho Chi Minh City, many tourism businesses forecast a bumper tourist season for the September 2 holiday due to positive market developments.

Specifically, at the transaction counter system of Vietravel tourism company (Vietravel) in recent days, the number of customers coming to register and buy tours has been quite busy.

Customers want to spend the entire 4-day holiday on September 2nd this year with their families, so the common criteria for choosing products and services are quality, new destinations, prices suitable for their needs... Therefore, domestic and international tour packages with good prices, guaranteed services, daily departures, diverse travel itineraries from 3 to 5 days... suitable for the diverse needs of customers should receive attention during the September 2nd holiday travel season this year.

A quick report from Vietnam Tourism Media Joint Stock Company has just been updated, showing that the number of foreign tours has sold more than 90% of the plan. Among them, some routes favored by tourists are Thailand, Singapore - Malaysia - Indonesia, Australia, Korea, China, Japan... Meanwhile, domestic tours have sold 80% of the plan, mainly tourists from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, Northeast, Northwest, Phu Quoc...

According to Ms. Pham Phuong Anh, General Director of Viet Tourism Media Joint Stock Company, the trend of traveling on September 2nd this year has shifted to traveling in groups of families and friends; along with that, airfares are not too high for domestic flights.

In response to the increasing demand of tourists to domestic destinations, airlines have also expanded their network with more domestic flights. Therefore, tourists can easily find cheap air tickets and be flexible in choosing the time to travel with family and relatives. In addition, seizing this opportunity, the tourism industry of many localities has invested in new products in destinations and tourist areas.

Taking note of the reality in the Ho Chi Minh City market, during the September 2nd holiday this year, visitors can experience new inner-city tourism products such as a photo exhibition on the imprints of the Vietnam Tourism industry in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular with the theme "Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Industry and the journey of the first 30 things", at Bitexco Financial Tower, District 1.

In particular, visitors to the exhibition (applicable to individual customers) will also receive a 20% discount on tickets to see the panoramic view of Ho Chi Minh City at the Saigon Skydeck Observatory.

For the tourist segment that prefers tours to the source, culture and history, they can refer to the night tour product at the area recreating the Capital Liberation Zone "Moon of the War Zone" at the Cu Chi Tunnels historical site, Ho Chi Minh City. This is a new tour product of the city and is launched for the first time on the tourism market on the occasion of September 2, 2023.

Meanwhile, Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, offers 1,000 all-inclusive tour packages to visitors who arrive earliest on September 2, 2023, with a total incentive value of up to 300 million VND.  

To stimulate demand for the September 2, 2023 tourist season, most businesses and accommodation establishments in Ho Chi Minh City have promoted "shock price" promotions when opening for sale of products and services, thereby attracting customers and increasing purchasing power in the market.  

Up to this point, the tourism business community, travel agencies, accommodation establishments... in Ho Chi Minh City have been prepared to serve tourists departing on the September 2, 2023 holiday tour.
